GBK SDA Youth department:
The Youth Department is a unique, and challenging ministry of all ministries in the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
It is good to start with the premise of understanding that young people are candidates and ambassadors of the Heavenly Kingdom. This department identifies youth who possess the zeal and spiritual aptitude to train them for preaching the Advent message to the entire world. Spreading the good news of the Three Angels’ Message to save the perishing souls are key events encouraged.(Revelation 14v 6-12). Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the Earth.
Ecclesiastes 12v1- REMEMBER NOW YOUR CREATOR IN THE DAYS OF YOUR YOUTH, BEFORE THE DIFFICULT DAYS COME, AND THE YEARS DRAW NEAR WHEN YOU SAY, ‘I HAVE NO PLEASURE IN THEM’ The emphasis Is to ensure that the young people attain Salvation through Jesus Christ and have that imparted to others.
